Mrs. Smiley, where are you? I must give you credit for sparking a creative bone in me. So kind, and your name matched your smiles and encouragement. Just recently, South Valley Bank purchased one of my images for their web sight loan page. This makes me happy, it reminds me of the pleasure I somehow evoked from my Art teachers in school. Falling leaves, hide the path, so quietly

Each year fall comes and I must force myself to slow the pace and see the beauty around me. It happened this time in Vancouver while working. A storm passed over dumping heavy rain and hail on my truck, then a clearing sent a clear strong beam of light to a stand of trees. It hit me in a flash, I pulled over and opened my bag wondering how the delicate leaves were still attached after enduring the fury of Mother Nature. `Christopher
